Coirag Torino is a PhD School for psychodrama; in 2016, their communication officer learned the digital storytelling method, and created three videos to share the school activities. This is the third and last video that they published in their Facebook page, to share the experiences and the activities occurred in 2016. This video, just as all others, has been produced by Claudia Guidi using the tools and following the lessons-learnt during the project “I DIG STORIES- Stories Educational Learning Facilities.

The class 5 D of the Primary School ‘G. Mameli’ of Recco, retraces the history and the various transformations, from the medieval era up to today, of the Towers of Porta Soprana, The Walls of Barbarossa and the neighbourhood of Vico Dritto di Ponticello after visiting them.

The video has been produced in Italy during the workshop conducted by Zoe for “I dig stories” project on March and April 2017.

Il video narra, attraverso lo sguardo di 8 bambini e 4 adulti, la storia di una festa che, da più di cinquant’anni, mette in rilievo le tradizioni e la cultura del territorio vezzanese, consentendo di tramandarle di generazione in generazione.

Questa digital story è stata creata dai bambini della classe VA (2015/2016), della Scuola Primaria Santullo, Molassana, Genova.

I bambini, negli ultimi giorni di scuola, dell’ultimo anno,  ripercorrono i momenti  più significativi, divertenti e interessanti vissuti insieme durante il periodo trascorso alla scuola primaria.

This video is a familiar memory, a delicate story who brings us back to the WWII and the fascist regime in Italy. It ‘s a digital story about courage, resourcefulness, endurance. it is also a story of fear, love, familiar warmth, and liberation. it is a family story that shows how the big story is actually made up of many, thousands, of small stories.
The video enlighten the educational value that turns a story into History, passing values between generations.
