Digital Storytelling (DST) refers to a short form of digital film-making that allows participants to share aspects of their life story originating a digital narration on personal, social, intercultural and intergenerational topics. It is a new practice of ordinary people who use digital tools to tell their personal ‘story’ (digital narratives), often producing a in compelling and emotionally engaging formats.

It is the process by which diverse peoples share their life story and creative imaginings with others through ICT new technologies and accessible media production techniques, hardware, software. Through the partnership with a range of organizations and institutions, DST method offers story making and story distribution services that prioritize the power of individual voices.

The project will allow the transfer of skills to produce and share DST to a wider audience. After a a one-week training workshop in Budapest in April 2016, the staff workshops will transfer the methodology to the national and local target groups, which will learn from trained-staff members to work on local memories and personal archive images. Five workshops will be implemented in Hungary, Italy, England, Poland and Greece.
